Join us in welcoming Priyanka Kohli as Sopra Steria’s Salesforce Practice Director!

Priyanka has a successful global track record in SaaS, cloud computing and IT enabled services, including delivering complex digital transformation programs leveraging Salesforce and the wider ecosystem, as well as building Salesforce practices at scale across multiple regions.

With a career starting in Semiconductor Design in Silicon Valley, CA, Priyanka has been fortunate to live and work across the globe – in the USA, Japan, China, Germany and now in the UK where she’s lived for the last 15 years.

To get to know Priyanka better, we asked her some questions about her career to date, and her inspiration along the way.

Interviewer: Welcome to the team Priyanka. How are you settling in?

Priyanka Kohli: Well, it’s certainly been a whirlwind of a few weeks since I joined. I’ve been busy getting to know the company and all the great people here at Sopra Steria. I’ve also been getting stuck into creating compelling bid responses for our clients, so I’ve really hit the ground running!

Interviewer: For people who haven’t yet met you, how would you describe yourself in three words?

PK: Energetic, fast-paced, diligent

Interviewer: Three attributes I’m sure have served you well in the technology industry. You’ve had an extensive career working with tech and especially Salesforce, but who is your inspiration?

PK: I wouldn’t say I’m inspired by just one person, but I derive inspiration from many wonderful people I’ve met or read about. I would call out, my Grandfather, a man of strong will, principles and compassion as being one of my early influencers.

Interviewer: What’s been the most rewarding thing about your career to date?

PK: Definitely the people... It’s fantastic to mentor and watch people grow whether it’s a customer, senior stakeholder, a colleague or a member of the wider Salesforce community.

Interviewer: It sounds like you’ve met and worked with some great people, but I’m sure your career has also had its challenges. What’s the biggest challenge you’ve overcome at work?

PK: I’m proud of how I’ve successfully created a sustainable brand for myself in what’s still a male-dominated industry. In doing so, I’ve hopefully also laid the foundations for the future female workforce.
