We’re delighted to announce that Andy Day, Director of Business Development for the Public Safety Group at Sopra Steria, has been elected by industry peers and fellow members to join techUK’s Justice and Emergency Services Management Committee (JESMC).
The JESMC has significant influence on policy and oversees the strategic leadership and direction of the Justice and Emergency Services Programme. The committee is made up of 28 elected representatives of companies in techUK’s membership who have key expertise in the area.

The role will provide a great opportunity for Andy to play a key role in H helping the justice and emergency services community maximise the opportunities offered by new and existing technology. Here’s what Andy said when he heard the news:
“I am really looking forward to joining the committee and developing strong and collaborative networks with everyone involved. I’m excited to work alongside some amazing people to enable and support our public safety professionals to achieve – and even exceed – their ambitions. My colleagues and I are committed to the role of transformational, enabling partner; creating truly collaborative endeavours to identify innovative, cost-effective solutions for the important work which we undertake in the Public Safety sector.”
We’re looking forward to supporting Andy in his role on the techUK committee and strengthening our relationships with the wider techUK community.
