Jerry is a seasoned senior executive with over 25 years of hands-on experience in strategic business, process optimisation, and Oracle Applications. He has been pivotal in developing and leading the delivery strategy and operations for a number of Oracle’s most successful partners. Jerry has successfully delivered transformative solutions across Human Capital Management (HCM), Finance & Supply Chain (ERPM), Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), and Managed Services, all while ensuring alignment with ISO standards and the company’s core values. His deep expertise helps customers and consultancies drive growth and operational excellence.

I am thrilled to lead Sopra Steria's UK Oracle practice which not only supports large portions of the UK’s central government through its BPO service offerings but also works with key private sector clients to offer strategic advisory and transformational Oracle services. Having spent my recent years in SME consultancy’s I am looking forward to bringing that agility, flexibility and entrepreneurial flare to our services in a way that is scalable, secure and fun.

James Herbert

James has been a key figure in the Oracle community since 1994, starting his career as an Oracle E-Business Suite CRM specialist. Over the past 15 years with Sopra Steria, he has gained extensive experience across the Oracle ecosystem, from EBS to Fusion and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Today, James leads our Business Development efforts and manages our strategic relationship with Oracle, leveraging his deep expertise to drive innovation and growth. James is also President of the UK Oracle User Group and an Applications Member advocate.

Success with Oracle Cloud Applications and Technology comes from combining technical expertise with strategic insight and collaborative partnerships. The rapid advancements in AI and emerging technologies are transforming how businesses operate, and my focus is on leveraging Oracle’s capabilities to harness these innovations, driving smarter, more efficient solutions that create lasting value for our clients.

I’m truly passionate about Oracle HCM Cloud because it has the power to transform how organisations connect with their people. Craig has over 15 years of experience delivering Oracle platforms with a business-focused approach. As a chartered accountant, he has led complex shared service projects and implementations across ERP, EPM, and Analytics. His drive to simplify IT landscapes and support strategic business outcomes using technology as an enabler to decision-making has been key to achieving success.

Using technology as an enabler to business change is my passion. Whilst my career has so far been accountancy and IT driven, the focus is always to really understand what makes business successful today, tomorrow, and for the foreseeable future. Simplified business processes, combined with rich data insights, answering the key strategic and operational level business questions is my drive for working with the Sopra Steria team. My teams role is to demystify the complexity of large scale implementations, and ensure the right technology is in place for the right reason, to support the right business outcome.
